Ross ERP: To Upgrade or Not To Upgrade?
Join us as FOUR different companies share how they approach Ross ERP Upgrades; Illes Seasonings, O-AT-KA Milk Products, Paradise Tomato Kitchens and Sadler’s BBQ.

Each company takes a slightly different approach to upgrades and the panel will be answering questions such as:
  • Should we upgrade now or later? When is the right time and what is the right version for us?
  • Do we have to train everyone on the new version? How do we know what the new functionality is?
  • Why and how do we partner with Aptean?
  • How do we uplift all our customizations?
  • How much time does it take to upgrade?
  • Why do we have to test before going live? And how?
  • How do we ensure the upgrade goes smoothly?

Ross & Excel Queries
This session will look into how to help your Excel users get their data from the Ross system faster using tools to help optimize their efficiency.

We will be looking at how most basic user defined queries built in Excel MS Query editor are very inefficient. With some basic SQL knowledge, Views/Stored Procedures can be used to create better retrieval for frequently used reports and files. We will also look at some basic tips to help users create their own queries more efficient on their own.

Lastly we will take a quick look at AdHoc Server settings to see if this can help with server memory management for those companies that run a larger amount of external queries.
